Bottle. Red dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is sourness, malt, blueberry. Flavour is sourness, blueberry, wood, berries, malt. Nice beer.

Small beige head. Deep reddish brown body. Deep red berry and oily vinegar aroma with chemical wooden notes. Dry-sweet-acidic earthy red berry taste with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry-acidic chemical red berries aftertaste with wooden vinegary notes. Nice, drinkable, harmonic. (0.5l bottle shared by Ole_R.)

Bottle at Håndverkerstuene, February 2013. A bit hazy ruby-red with a small head. Light aroma of berries and some light brett. The taste was soft with light brett, blueberries, wood and something sweet. The body was light, medium carbonation. Not bad, easy to drink.

Appearance: Light hazy deep ruby amber color with a small bubbly tan head that vanish fast.
Aroma: Moderate acidic fruity aroma.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweetness, and a fine bitterness after a while. Creamy carbonation. Dry texture.
Taste: Slightly sweet. Fine balanced acidic taste. Berry fruity. I am not sure I have guessed blueberry if I did not know it. Some immature apples.
Overall impression: I am not the biggest fan of sour ale. But the ones I have tasted from Haandbryggeriet so far have been really nice. Also this one!

Flaske hos Ole Anders des-12: Brygget 23.08.11, eikefatlagret og tappet 21.11.12. Dyp mørkerød, litt uklar. Lukter definitivt av blåbær (som jeg er veldig glad i) og brett (som jeg ikke er fullt så glad i). Tynn og sur smak med noe blåbær naturligvis, men alt for surt for meg. Litt sødme hadde nok gjort seg. Jeg prøver og prøver, men greier ikke å nyte sure, spontangjærede øl. Må nok ha mer opplæring.
