Bottle at home. The colour is dark reddish brown and is hazy. Has a light brown small head. Aroma of sweet berries, forest floor, vinegar and oak. the flavour is similar with sour berries, some blueberry and crowberry. Has a slick and rich mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A well-balanced and rich ale. Not much of the blueberries.

Bottled, thanks KnutAlbert! Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Funky citric nose. Sour with some underlying malt sweetness. Really funkywith lots of cobwebs and barnyard. As always the blueberries gives adds more colour and general fruitiness than flavour. Some bread before a citric finish. This must be the best blueberry beer in existance!

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Hazy deep amber beer, little pale tan head. Palate is light and crisp. Mild sourness. Slightly acidic blueberry and blackberry. Light dry finish with a touch of more generic fruit.

Bottle at Bruce’s, London. Thanks to Ken. Pours cloudy ruby with a moderate, bubbly foam head. Herbs and berries on the nose, mild funk. Light sweet flavor with bracing sourness, fresh berries, mild vinegar, hints of sweat. Light bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Sharp sour berries to finish, some acetic bite, blueberry, raspberry, mild funk. Good one.

Bottle, brewed 23.08.11. Pours dark mahogany, with almost no head whatsoever save some big airy bubbles. Aroma is yeast and balsamic vinegar, with notes of oak as well as lots of berries and fruit. Body is creamy, with a soft carbonation. Flavour is sour with balsamic vinegar, oak and some earthy notes, as well as sour fruity notes of rhubarb and red currants. Still it feels a bit insipid. Finishes of with a long astringent fruitiness.

500ml bottle shared with Stefan & Elisabeth at Vertshuset Skarven. A few bubbles at the top, and a few dotted spots to the glassware. Dark brown body with shades of red and blue. Unclear. Modest yeasty dry smell with a touch of tartness. Tart and dry berries to the taste buds. Yeasty backbone. Lingering dry ending. Vinous impression. Clean and quite refreshing, however, it is not quite my kind of beer, yet (Tromsø, 20.04.2013).

50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika enjoyed at a cabin in the mountains. Pours hazy reddrish brown with an off-white head. Aroma of wild yeast, blueberries, barnyard and malt. Light initial sweetness with a sour and pleasant flavour of blueberries. Finishes lightly bitter with a nice and sour aftertaste. Well balanced. Sour and refreshing with a nice blueberry flavour.
