(Bottle at Pergamon Museum café, Berlin, 20 July 2010) Pale green colour with frothy, green and white head. Herbal, spicy nose with marzipan and some kind of herb. A certain sourness. Defintely a bit weird. Slightly tart, herbal taste with notes of herbs, soap, marzipan, some wheat character and a slightly lactic sourness. Thin body. In beer terms it’s a bit hard to describe and not really impressive, but on a hot summer afternoon it’s quite refreshing. Although it feels strange to drink beer through a straw. Rating no 3000.

At a tasting, thanks Shachar, small head, murky green , aroma of baby powder, industrial vanila extract and flowery hints, strange sweet and sourness. Feels like a light beverage and not like beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Shachar. Cloudy yellow-ish green. Aroma of woodruff (I guess), almonds, sweeteners and wheat. Sweet flavor of tooth-paste, candies, saccharine, fruits and a bit of acidity. Light-bodied and quite sticky. Really sweet. What happend to my Berliner Weisse?!

Bottle. Looks like creme de menthe. Aroma of a kids fruit drink gone off. Taste is strangely ok, the sweet of the berry works ok with the bitterness of the beer. Not really my thing but alright.

06/03 0.33 l bottle. It poured alien hazy green body with medium sized head. Strange aroma of that Woodruff plant, most similar to marzipan as Doggythedog noted. Flavor follows it of course, with sourness being felt at least of all beers, I guess the juice is the strongest here. Seems also very artificial. Medium bodied with long sweetish finish, artificial again. Interesting for sure, especially for its appearance, but I believe the other two are better.

Bottle from the Kaisers near Brauhaus Mitte. Poured a dark green body with a greenish-white head. Marzipan nose, nice perfumey marzipan taste. What is this Waldmeister thing? Anyway, wouldn’t refuse it if offered again.

330ml bottle, 3% abv., bought at Schönefeld Flughafen Berlin. Hazy, green body. One-finger, lightly green foamy head. Prominent aroma of sweet almond. Almond extract in flavour with notes of herbs and lemon. Bittersweet on the swallow. Refreshing as a soft drink, very moderate beer feeling (at home, Tromsø 27.11.2009).
