Bottle from a markt in Alexanderplatz in Berlin. Pours hazy dark rose with a pinkish head. Aroma is raspberry with a little sour note. Med body, nearly. Flavor is sour tart raspberry. This schuss works well.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear pink-purple, thin white head. Big red fruit and sherbet aromas, not necessarily raspberries, more redcurrants. Taste is saccharine sweet, almost chalky. Sourness not in evidence. Medium body, chalky sweet finish. OK.

Pink-rötliches Getränk mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch künstlich süß, säuerlich. Geschmack nach Himbeere, künstlich süß, leicht säuerlich.

33 cl. bottle sampled. Pink red with a pink head. This basically smells and tastes like white sugar and straight up raspberry grenadine, some candy. Like drinking a glass of grenadine basically – nasty but better than the regular one. Will rate it a bit higher than that one. It is not per se bad, I have nothing against grenadine but you are better of with pouring some vodka into raspberry grenadine.

Bottle shared by MisoW, many thanks. Hazy red colored beer with small pinkish head. Raspberries and sugar in aroma. Taste, raspberries, wheat, yeast, candy. Light tartness in finish. Best among the three, but still not very tasty.

Bottle at home a year or two ago, just to add it to my list of beers i have had. What i remember is that it was rather drinkable but i wouldn’t drink it again.

Bottle. Pours fizzy, murky pink with quickly vanishing light pink head. Clear aroma of concentrated raspberry juice. Sour flavour with sweetish notes of berry lozenges. Sourish aftertaste. Refreshing and nit bad as such but I still prefer the original version of Berliner Kindl Weisse without any dashes.
