Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel and hops.

As 25 Jaar Bierkoning Schwarz (backlog). Pours dark, but not quite black, cloudy, and an off white head with a small layer retention. Aroma's: a bit caramel, roasted, like a light stout. Retronasal: sweetish, fruity, light roasted. Flavour is roasty, caramel malty, but hardly sweet. Light bodied. Fairly short finish with mild roasty bitterness.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Cloudy brown beer. Little white head. Crisp palate. Very mild dark malt. Trace of lactose. Trace of mild smoke. Dry finish. Not bad.

Bottled. Cloudy brown color, medium frothy brown head. Soft caramelly and roasted aroma, hint of yeast, hint of molasses. Taste of caramel, roasted malt, rye. Quite sparkling on the tongue. Decent malty schwarzbier.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Muddy brown to black colour, light beige head. Aroma of light roasted malts, chocolate, very faint. Flavour is light sweet, chocolate, cocoa, light roasted malts, very light smoked note, ligth bitter dry finish. Light to medium bodied. Decent.

33cl bottle, just in yesterday. Iām not a Schwarz beer drinker so Iām not sure how to judge this beer. It seems pretty good and would be a nice session beer
