Many thanks to Rian. Bitter floral caramelly nose. The beer starts very fresh. Sourish with malty caramelly sweetish hints. Bitter floral aftertaste with lots of caramel. More bitter than sweet, round and fresh, nice but a bit too sweet.

Bottle split at home with James on the evening of my 40th, 11/10/14. Hazed orange amber with a big old off white head that retains well. Nose is citric peel, grassy, light soap, straw, bitter orange. Taste comprises sweet notes, spice, orange peel, citric tinges, yeast esters, bready notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok Belgo offering.

75 cl bottle @ olio, BBE 08/2014
Aroma has sweet brown sugar tones. Also some ripe fruits. Flavour is tart with citrus, some peppery spices, grapefruit, dried fruits and slightly toasted brown sugar. Interesting, tries to be sweet but tart Fantôme twist balances it.
