Slightly unclear golden colour, white head. Bit sour aroma, lemon, lemon juice and malts. Light sour flavour, malts, hint of citrus. Sour finish, lemon, malts. Quite OK.

Sampled @ RBESG 13 Grand Tasting. Hazy yellow to orange colour with a medium sized white head. Smells malts, fresh, some herbs and spices. Tastes malty, sweet, herbs, spices and sweet. Too much carbo, medium body.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBESG 2013. Thx! to rlgk & Aniela. Didn’t take a lot of notes because I assumed that I had, had this one before but i wasn’t entirely certain. Still took some. Hazy golden with a white head. Slightly bitter with a touch of plastic, bitter with quite a bit of spices, grass, spicy yeast, touch fruity sweetness, hay, barn is restrained. Touch higher carb. No seeming off-flavours & no clear infections like smoke notes etc. Still one of the more middling & less exiting Fantomes I have had. Solid but not particularly exiting.

75cl Bottle at RBESG ’13 Grand Tasting. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, floral, light funky. Flavour is light funky, floral, bitter, dry hay, pear drups, light spicy, dry finish. Has some saison-characteristics. I liked this a lot. Medium-bodied.

Bottle at the RBESG 2013 Grand Tasting. The aroma is grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter, grass hop, nettle with a zesty feeling on the tongue. Very refreshing!

Bottle. Good hoppy nose: citrus, grass, minerals. Dusty and dry. Bright amber-orange color with a tall, foamy head. Sweet burst of orange in the flavor, then minerals and bitter hops. Dry and dusty, light blanket, with a dry bitter finish. The early sweet fruitiness is a bit strange, but a very fun, tasty beer.

750 big thanks to Dallas! Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. A sweet citrus nose. A flavor that is dry, tart, rich citrus flavors, bready, Brett, a bit of dry tangerine in the finish. Awesome brew.
