On tap at the only place it can be, L'ange guardian in Orval. Aroma is so so nondescript. Appearance is murky gold with Orval carbonation. Taste is somewhere between an Orval and a seasoned English golden. It's decent but nothing mind blow8ng. Hope the monks enjoy it in this amazing Abbey.

Draft at A l'Ange Gardien. Color: Clear amber, nice thick long lasting white head. Taste: Fruity with a good amount of hopbitterness, notes of lemon and the orval bretty yeast. Medium body, average carbonation. Dry fruity and hoppy palate at finish. Nice one.

12-10-17 // draft at À L'Ange Gardien in Orval. Cloudy orange beer, big white head. Really loved this lighter version of Orval. Typical Orval yeastiness is definitely there but there's this fresh hop aroma. As the big brother a unique experience and definitely worth the trip.

Little hazy amber beer, creamy solid off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit fruity, some citrus, floral. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter hoppy start, fruity, notes, citrus, some grapefruit, slightly sour. Aftertaste: hoppy, bitter, soapy touch, some malts, bit of grapefruit. Nice one! Glad I finally got to try my last Belgian Trappist beer! :-)

Glass at a l’ange gardien. Hazy orange beer medium head. Aroma is yeast, nutty. Taste is the same some hops. Not bad but prefer the "normal" one.

330 ml unlabelled bottle at Mikkeller Bar, Aarhus. Brown color, large white head. Aroma and flavour very much like the ordinary Orval, with "farmhouse" and "spicy" notes, distinct hops. It is quite impressive that so much flavour can be put into a beer of this moderate ABV.
