Typical pale ale but with a little more muscle. Sour mid with a good hoppy bitter finish.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of apricot, peach, pale malts, floral notes, and a tart citric note. Flavour is less inviting, with pale malts offset by floral hop notes. Not very complex nor ambitious. Not bad though.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 9 Oct 2010) Dark copper colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, caramel, earthy hops and a touch of rubber. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, citrus and a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Very nice and tasty.

Pours amber with a magnificent thick head white head that clings to the glass.Nose shows loads of light fruit (pear, apples, white grapes) along with lots of floral, spicy and grassy notes. Very light and refreshing. Underneath is some doughy yeast and spicy phenols along with a little bready malt.Similar flavours, first showing more floral, fruity and grassy hops followed by soft sweet clean malt and finishing with a somewhat sharp bitterness.Carbonation could be a little higher. That sharp bitterness is a little over the top but otherwise good.

Bottle@ the Rake, London. A hazy amber pour with a lingering white head and some nice lace. Enticingly fragrant hoppy nose with some nice fruit in evidence, both themes that continued on into the flavour in abundance. Really good body to this with some great chewy malt and nice balance. Hop bitterness just bob on. Really can’t fault this at all. Top draw sir.
