Flaske 0,5 l. Spandert av Rune og delt under seanse i WCveien 5 Mar 14. Mørk amber. Veldig høyt, litt farget skum med kniplingslacing. Beskjeden maltaroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken er maltpreget med innslag av mandler. Litt skuffende.

Bottle. It pours a dark reddish brown body and a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is surprisingly weak, with some prunes, roasted malt notes and coffee. It’s dry on the palate, nicely carbonated, and medium bodied. Some roasted notes in the flavor, with dried fruits and a little hoppy bitterness. Lasting finish with some roasted malts and a nice bitterness. Gets a bit more interesting after a few sips, but overall it’s pretty boring. 140117

First rating50 cl bottle, bought at while back. Likely ordered by the bottle to my local Systembolaget. Seems to be available at three stores. BB April 2014, sampled on November 1, 2013.Clear dark reddish brown color, big fluffy lasting tan head. Very subtle nose, light sweet, the faintest hints of smoke, a sprinkle of fruits - dark and dried, some notes of what is likely to be alcohol as well in the scent. Smells mellow, laid back, not bad at all but also doesn’t like to speak up or be noticed. Sweet, bread, grainy, light roasted, some alcohol, fruity taste. Thankfully the taste takes up way more room than the scent did! Hints of mineral, light tart, some Trocadero making its way through in the taste as well. Mineral, roasted, hints of coffee, some charred notes in the aftertaste. However there comes the Trocadero in the aftertaste as well, what is that, like some sort of soft sweet/candy like estery chemical thing, unnatural flavor component. A bit like charcoal and ashes mixed with pop, when trying for subtle but noticeable, but overdid the camp fire notes when the coal dropped into your pop glass. Rather full mouthfeel, some CO2 that sticks out, but not too much. Medium bitterness. Smell is way too laid back, taste do get through a whole lot more, but have some weird notes that I feel should not be there for my personal preference.6/4/6/3/12=3.1RerateDraught at Haket on April 20, 2017.Clear deep red to black color, big tan head. Malty, slight roasted taste. Malty aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Malty, slight roasted scent.7/4/7/3/13=3.4

7% bottle courtesy of Omhper, thanks! A coca-cola pour reveals itself to be almost black with reddish tinges in the glass. The sweet atoms of chocolate is subtle but there. The body is slightly watery but the taste is quite good; dark chocolate, oatmeal then some roastiness in the finish withaybe hints of vanilla. An easy drinking go to kind of stout for everyday use.

Kastanjebrun, klar lågt skum. Doft av kokkaffe och mörkt bröd. Typisk Jämtlands smak med len, rund kropp med tydlig UK-karaktär. Lite väl mycket stickig kolsyra dock. Mörkt bröd, välrostade nötter, aningen bränd, ganska salt, lätt kropp för stilen, liten beska. Mycket trevlig på typisk JB-vis. Gott!
