clear brown, smooth small light brown head. aroma is mild malty, flavor is roasted malty, licorice, roasted boozy malty.

Sampled @ RBESG 13 Grand Tasting. Lovely brown colour with a small off-white head. Smells roasty, liquorice, chocolate and tar. Tastes roasty and chocolate, but too bad it’s quite watery. Thin body, medium carbo.

50 cl. bottle sampled @ RBESG 2013. Thx! to rlgk & Aniela. Ruby hued dark brown, almost no head. Smell is light wine, creamy mocha, liquorish, uneatable berries, herbs. Taste is bitter liquorish, herbs, sweet mocha, coffee, lightly creamy, bitter herbal in the finish, hint of soy. Touch lighter but creamy body. Agreeable, not too shabby.

Bottle. Black colour with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, hops, some fruit. Flavour is sweet caramel, malt. Dry mouthfeel.

50cl Bottle at RBESG’13 Grand Tasting. Dark brown to black colour, beige head. Aroma of some caramel, a bit muddy, liquorice, some roast. Flavour is thin, caramel, liquorice and laurel, light roast. Not very good.

Bottled @ RBESG 2013 Grand Tasting. Dark color, short head. Aroma of soft roast, dark fruit, bit boring. Fruity yeast, hint of toffee. I’m not impressed.

Bottle @ RBESG grand tasting. Clear amber red brown color, medium sized beige to light brown head. Smell malts, roasted malts, caramel. Taste malts, roasted malts, caramel, nice malty bitterness. Very nice!

Dark brown color, not yet black, with medium sized brownish head. Mild aroma of roasted malt, and very light chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel, nice roasted malt flavor, light chocolate too, with bottom fermentation esters; correct bitterness; good roasted nuts character in the final.
Nice, clean Stout; the bottom fermentation helps.

Bottle @ Zentraleuropäischer Wahnsinn. Clear dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and roasted malt. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 300513
