50cl bottle. Murky orange pour with a tall off-white head that gives way to a thick lacing. Notes of bananas, coriander, yeast, a bit of dust, overripe fruit. Medium body and carbonation and a bitter-sweet finish.

A little sweetness overwhelmed by sparkling freshness. The texture is somehow crispy. Overall that’s the reason I didn’t like it so much.

Bottle shared at my joint. It pours hazy amber with small white head. The nose is soft, doughy, candied peel, apple, pear, sugary, bakewell tart and doughnuts. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, stewed orange, doughy, sugary, cake, brioche, icing sugar, pear and melon with a smooth finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well-rounded and quaffable. Chuggable gear.
