Cask at the gin winter ale festival. Aroma is berry fruitys, vanilla oak and hot boozy alcohol. Opaque black dark caramel pour with a halo of light tan head. Flavour is woody, twigs some very smooth roast. Finish has a ton of nail polish remover. Boozy and head ache inducing. Palate is thick and syrupy. With a light carbonation. Tasty enough but too much hot alcohol.

Cask at IMBC 2013. It puts near. Lack with a medium light tan head. The roasty, wood, whisky, caramelized sugar and vanilla. The taste is smooth roast, coffee, chocolate, good deal of whisky character, milk, mild bitterness, light medicinal notes and wood with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Whisky dominates base beer, but tis still nice.
