Cask@GBBF2009. Yellow colour, no head. Aroma is wooden, mildly yeasty, grassy and also has some citrusfruity notes. Flavour is wood, fruits, some hops and also quite big on a tart/sour finish.

Cask at GBBF 05-08-09 Pours warm gold with no head, some thinish watery lemon and then tangy tendrils of sourness leach out of this to tickle the roof of the mouth, its tart and refreshing a good one to start off with when I was sure I was going to hit the cider/perry bar first off. Tastes a little stronger than 4.8%, its good stuff, my one criticism is that its a tad warm. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Cask at Copenhagen Beerfestival 09. Hazy yellow color, short head. Sour aroma, barnyard, horseblanket. Sweet tart taste, gueuze like. Soft vinous, red wine notes. Bit dry. Very nice italian stuff.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2009
Hazy blond color. Delicate Brett aroma. Unexpected, it has a soft mouthfeel, with light malt, very light residual sweetness. Light lemony sourness. Refreshing.

Bottled at Enoteca Decanter, Milano. Lightly hazy golden, airy head. Citric lambic-like barnyard aroma. Tart and quite acidic, but this is countered by some malt sweetness. Remaining rather mild, never really reaching lambic-like levels of complexity or sourness. Finishes lemony and moreish. Rather akin to American sour ales like Russian River et al. I love it!

On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It pours a clear, dark golden body under a small, white head. Funky nose with citrus and sourness. Barnyard and horseblanket hints. The aroma follows the same path, but maybe a bit on the lemony side. Thin on the palate, with an ok carbonation. A quenching and refreshing beer, and that’s also probably it’s best qualities. Not that it’s not a tasteful one, but it doesn’t stand out in that direction. (090515)

100ml gravicask at the 9th Copenhagen Beer Festival. Hazy yellow-golden body with only a few bubbles at the top. Light acid aroma. Sweet-sour taste of fruit. Some spices and notes of barnyard. Watered palate. Not so much to offer and not to my liking (15.05.2009).
