Columbus and Copenhagen twin for a wonderful milk stout. A transatlantic road trip, uniting the States and the Kingdom. Buckle up for a bitter sweet ride. Darker than Evil and smoother than a late show host. Chocolate, bitter espresso, and vanilla ride up front, closely tailgated by roasty, nutty notes. Oats and wheat round things out with nitro delivering a supersonic smooth ride.

Roaster Coaster - fantastic transatlantic.

Can: Literally black, big tanned head - very stable, very creamy, moderate bitter-sweet aroma of roasted malt with distinctive traces of vanilla (and coconut?) and freshly ground coffee; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, very soft; lingering and warming bitter-toasty finish with similar flavours as in the aroma, port-vinous illusions in the aftertaste. Hats off...

402ml can: BB 31st Jul 2021. Poured into a thistle shaped 'Gordon Finest Gold' glass at home on 14th Feb 2021. Great fun watching the Nitro Can settle up in the glass (not all the can got it on the first pour). Smooth, smooth creamy head on a black coffee body. Think alcoholic Greek 'Frappé Coffee' and you've just about got this aroma and taste wise. Very nice.

Nitro can, 0.44l. Deep brown, almost black pour, half finger creamy beige head. Long lasting, nice lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nose is toasted caramel and coffee. Strong coffee notes, quite nice, lingering cocoa and chocolate. Medium body, flat carbonation. Smooth and soft mouthfeel and texture, creamy and silky, very nice on the palate. Sweet taste with subtle lingering roasty bitter touch. Aroma of roasted malt, toasted caramel, chocolate, cocoa nibs and coffee. Licorice, nutty notes, hints of forest fruits. Subtle lingering alcohol, warming and dry. Nicely balanced. Medium to long lasting finish, dry, lingering coffee. Very nice.
