Orangey copper with okay foam, sharp sweet grain on the nose. Flavour is a smooth lager grain, mellow, soft maltiness. Good full mouthfeel. Enjoyable, decent enough.

Can from Legacy LRS, Vancouver
Blond colour, clean. Quite good malt base (aroma and flavour), it's delicately bready and biscuity, with mild Lager esters, and balanced bitterness. Clean and pleasant.

Clear gold with a decent white head. Light cereal notes and pale malts. Light skunk and a clean finish. Quite decent actually.

473mL can, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Nose is laid back, with gentle bready malt and a touch of lager yeast. Flavour is clean, with a bready, doughy malt character that permeates. Very low bitterness, and finishes with a nice lager yeast character. Simple, but on-point and as good as one could expect from the style. Solid.

Too bad this isn't a collab with Brassneck and Angry Hen. But hey, no worries. Cute to do a steam beer. Golden-amber, pale and bright, just a thin head. Looks really good, actually. The aroma has a fair bit of chewy caramel malt, which is something I remember from Anchor Steam (haven't had that in quite a while now). Slight esters in there as well, so they are aiming for textbook. On the palate, smooth and rounded. Low-moderate bitterness, touch of fruitiness, balanced caramel/biscuit malts. Smooth, lagered finish has a bit of elegance to it. Not my favourite style, but if you're going to make a steam beer, do it like this, textbook and without fault.
