Purchased 2/22/16: $7.99 Bomber from Market Street Wine Shop, Uptown. Pours clear pale golden with a giant, soft off-white head. Aroma of lemongrass, earth, yeast. Flavor is quite interesting. Bittersweet fruits, dust, earth, light maple syrup but enough to really linger, funk, citrus peel, slightly medicinal, and envelope glue. Very interesting, but not necessarily for me. Finishes with a lingering medicinal flavor - that yellow cough syrup I remember having to take in my childhood.

22 oz bottle poured and shared by Maxwell. Thanks! Pours a super hazy yellow color with a big white foam head. Huge lingering yeast flavor thoughout, and well into the late palate. Slightly sour, and has a definite maple and spice flavor background. Really enjoyed this one. Fun beer.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall pure white head - how is this bottle conditioned, there is no sediment at all!?! Aroma of yeast, funk, grass, hay, earth, flowers, alcohol and a bit of pure caster sugar. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong floral and grassy yeast up front with a large malt presence of wheat and crystal malt along with some alcohol, sugars, grass and a good deal of yeast. Aftertaste shows a slightly bitter funk at the end with a large yeast and alcohol note and only a touch of of the sugars with not much grassy and herbal elements. Overall, a decent saison at best and almost completely missing the elements that made me buy this - maple syrup and any aspect of a Belgian-themed beer, minus the style. Not really worth buying, but this won’t stop people, because it’s a Southern Tier beer, but if I could do it again, I’d pass on this. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 31-January-2015 for US$9,49 when the store got the bottle on 13-January-2015 sampled at home in Washington on 14-March-2015.

Poured from a bottle it is a cloudy goldn color with a slight head. The aroma is yeasty with s hint of maple syrup. The taste is dough that has an edge of spice and a hint if maple that finishes bitter
