Bottle @ home. Clear deep dark brown-red colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of raisins, very port-like, malts and some other dark fruits. Flavour is raisins, chocolate, roasted malts. Rather sweet. Becomes a bit cloying and thin towards the end, still rather nice bock though.

Red-foxy with orange highlights; nearly no head, off-white rim. Sweet, slightly fruity, like sugar-preserved oranges or tangerines. Alcohol and esters (like pineapple ester) define the aroma: sweet & fruity and rather heavy. Alcohol, rosewater, amandine, the juice from canned pineapple, ending in a brusque, nearly harsh short bitterness. Maybe a bit of fruit & alcohol-filled Belgian chocolates - in a cheap version.. Very well-bodied, viscous. The aftertaste betrays the alcohol by a little almond-like flavour. More classical Dutch Bock. Brusque, without becoming truly crude.
