On tap @ Od tu do tam - zimski beer fest. Aroma of toasted malt, dried fruit and spices. Pours clear dark brown color with thin quickly diminishing off-white head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and toasted malt, following is dried fruity, herbal and spicy with a touch of rum, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Light body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Not a real chaos, but lacks a bit of Xmas touch...

500 ml bottle, Christmas 2017, from Ales By Mail. Rum raisin porter. ABV is 5%. 40 IBU. Nearly black colour, large beige head. Pleasant aroma of rum-raisin and mild spices, also lightly roasted malts and a hint of chocolate. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, again with rum-raisin and fairly distinct spices, the roast malts are now more distinct with notes of coffee and chocolate. Fairly sharp bittering hops in the aftertaste. Good beer.

Cask at Catford Constitutional. It pours dark brown with medium beige head. The aroma is quite sweet, toasty malt, earth, spice, cacao, raisin, burnt cookies and toffee. The taste is bitter, charred wood, roasted malt, burnt toast, tar, drief fruits, fruit cake, spice, pepper, dark fruits and rum with a bitter, burnt spice finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit all over the place. Not great.
