Greetings from Cleveland! Where an infamous river fire rekindled appreciation for our region’s natural resources (like the malt and hops illuminating this Pale Ale).

Pours gold into a shaker. Off-white head with medium retention recedes leaving no lacing. Bread and cracker aromas. Sweet caramel and bread upfront turning to resin in the lasting bitter finish.

Alright. Some light citrus, some light bitter finish. Malt doesn’t make a huge showing. Session pale ale. On tap at DC Beer Festival.

Shiny amber gold color in a shaker. Biscuity aroma. Mild, balanced combination of malt, hops, and bitterness. Well done.

Thanksgiving day lunchtime warm up, can split at Christine and Daves thanks to DLJ, 28/11/13. Clear golden with a good sized off white head that retains well. Nose is toasted malt, orange, citric dipped straw, bread dough, trace of caramel. Taste comprises toasted malt, soft bread dough, orange pith, lemon sherbet, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish with a subtle hop presence. So so APA - lacks any great depth of flavour but easy drinking.

Crisp dark orange. Nose is totally northwest hops. Pine needles and clementines. Mineral water mouthfeel. Crisp malt backbone. The hops come in waves and cling to the palate for a long time

Light Amber Color, Huge Long Lasting Head That Leaves Lots Of Lacing. Nice Pine and Citrus Aroma that somewhat reminds me off Passion Fruit. Malt and Pine, With Hop Bitter Finish. Real Easy To Drink, Medium Body, Slightly Buttery. Another One from Great Lakes that is true to style and did not disappoint. Recommended.

Had this on an unsuccessful date the other day, though I won’t hold it against the beer! Draft pour with a light, pretty translucent amber color with a small white head. Aromas are sweet caramel notes, light citrus and pine hop notes. Clean tasting, light caramel character, with some light hop notes to this.
