at a tasting, thanks DSG, quite clear pink red colour, aroma of honey drops, orange marmalade, turkish delight and a hint of herbs, fruity jammy flavour with a hint of nuts and a medium herbal bitterness. Still nice but a little too old.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Clear amber. Aroma of hops, pretty stale, with a bit of floral and citric notes. Flavor has faint malt sweetness and a bitter finish with somewhat stale hops with citric notes. Medium-bodied. A bit too old but still alright.

12 ounce bottle. Copper colored with a small bubbly beige head. Pleasant toasted malt aroma with a fragrant citrus hop bouquet. Bittersweet caramel malt flavor is balanced nicely by the citrusy hops into mid taste. Finish is spicy hops with a long dryness. Very tasty.

12 oz. bottle. Pours pale gold with a large, foamy, off-white head. The aroma is pine and floral hops, crystal malts, and white bread. The taste is fairly bitter, with a minimal malt backbone. The palate is medium, sticky, and crisp. Overall, this is an easy drinking, fairly complex and delicious pale ale.

On tap at Philadelphia Airport. Golden amber with a thin white head; crisp citrus fruit flavour and a good body, with a sweet grapefruit finish. A satisfying APA.

Crisp and sharp, leaves a nice bitterness on the back of the tongue. Clear golden color with minimal head and lazy carbonation. Hops come through on first taste and stay with you til the "bitter" end....

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best by 5/20/2012. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a fairly dense 1 finger off white head with good retention that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Some spotty lacing on the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, caramel, apricot, pine, herbal, biscuit, honey, floral, and grass. Very nice and well balanced aromas with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, biscuit, pine, floral, honey, orange, caramel, and herbal spiciness. Good amount of spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, orange, pine, biscuit, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Great malt flavor balance with bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming after the finish. Overall this is a very excellent and balanced pale ale that is highly enjoyable and flavorful.
