Gouverneur Stout op Hout is een bovengistend, tikkeltje eigenzinnig bier met een unieke lagering op eikenhout. Hierdoor heeft dit bier een subtiel houtaroma en een weldadige afdronk. Gouverneur Stout is gemaakt met kristalhelder water uit eigen bron, met uitsluitend natuurlijke grondstoffen. De nagisting op fles maakt het bier een tikkeltje troebel en verrijkt het smaakaroma.

Draft at The Hague beer festival. Clear dark brown with a medium cream head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light woody notes and toffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Marrón oscura, ligeramente translúcida. Un dedo de espuma blanquecina. Aroma malteado, fruto seco, licor. En boca, se aleja de la típica stout, menos seca, menos amarga, menos ahumada. De hecho, tira a dulce claramente. Cuerpo moderado, y bien de gas. Final de amargor moderado y algo licórico rico. Brown ale inglesa de alta graduacion la define mejor. 30cl bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. As Lindeboom Oak Stout. Clear, ruby red. Film and ring of dense, tan head. Soft, red fruit. Hint of woody vanilla. Taste is sugary sweet. Some fruit. Pretty grim, soggy sweet mouthfeel. Finishes sweet and fruity. Miles away from any kind of stout. Not my cup of tea.
