Bottle. Brown pour. Aroma of sweet oak, chocolate and caramel. Taste is about the same. Bit belgian, more like a quad.
Earlier Rating: 6/1/2015 Total Score: 2.7
Tap. Brown pour, white head. Aroma of caramel, nut and chocolate. Taste is sweet and malty, with hazelnut, brown malt, café latte and chocolate. Not really a stout, more a brown ale. Not very good.
Stoutish, some wood. Very drinkable, but not very exciting.

Flesje "stout op hout" gedronken. Diep donkerbruin helder bier. Aroma van hout, donker fruit en caramel. Smaak is caramelachtig en fris. Nasmaak is hoppig.

Bottle. Black with a nice fluffy head. Aroma is subdued. Malts, oak and a touch of coffee. Taste features liquorice, wood, a little bit of coffee and some hops. Aftertaste is very alcoholic. Strong carbonation. There are way better Stouts out there.

As ’Lindeboom Oak Stout’. From the description above, this must be the same beer. Almost opaque dark reddish - brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light and has modest fine carbonation. Mild dark malts, tangy and with a touch of toffee. Trace of malt cream. Very light oaky sweetness. Light semi dry finish. A light but tasty stout.

Pours dark with a creamy, tan head. Aroma is coffee and wet wood. Taste is overall bitter with coffee and brown sugar notes. Finish is lightly bitter. Medium-bodied with average carbonation. Decent stuff but failed to really make much of an impression on me.

"Oak Stout". Propably is that beer. From Beers of Europe.

Bottle @ home. Unclear dark amber to purple color, huge beige head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is sweetish and a bit sugary and reminds me of a mix between a bock, an Abbey Dubbel and a dark Belgian ale. Taste isn’t very interesting either, malts, dark sugar, sweetish. Don’t get any wood aging, don’t get anything that reminds me of a stout. Could be a stout technically but I don’t like it.

Bottle at home. Verh dark brown with beige head. Lots of sweet face chocolate, fudge, vanilla, sugar, soft herbs, chalk, lots of dark bread, flour, a hint of rotten vegetables and cat food. Over medium sweet and soft roasted bitter finish. Over medium bodied. Mostly just very sweet with a barely decent aroma.
