Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate and whisky aroma. Roasted malty woody whisky and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty woody whisky and chocolate finish.

Bottle shared at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. Opaque pitch black color, small dark brown head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, a slight hint of hops, roasted malts, liquor, bitterness, alcohol. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle drank during RBESG; pitch black pour with a tiny beige head, quite a big whisky aroma, taste has booze from the whisky along with chocolate roast malts and some red fruits.

Bottle - Dark chocolate and some coffee. Inky black with a purple edge. Dark chocolate, some subtle barrel notes, dark fruit and some long lasting bitterness. Nice.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Pitch black colour, no head. Nice roasty and sweetish aroma, notes of chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Little carbonation. Medium sweet and distinctly roasty flavour, coffee, molasses and chocolate. A little more hops would not hurt.

Ebony. No head. Coffee, dark chocolate and dried berries in aroma. Similar taste, also with cigar box. Oily mouthfeel and little carbonation.
