Taste at brewery. Dark brown pour, thin beige head. Sweet, nutty aroma, light smoky notes. Taste is sweet, light maple, nutty, roasty. Maple really supports the brown ale with overdoing it.

Tap, at the brewery. Chalkboard stated 7.2%. Deep brown, with a foamy, beige head that recedes to a ring. Nose has soft chocolate malts. Maple syrup. Some fruity, nutty chocolate notes. Taste is chocolatey sweet, with a nice balance of soft, piny bitterness. Smooth, fairly rich mouthfeel. Warm sweetness, gets nutty and lightly dry by the end.

Bottled on 10/28/15.
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a one finger white to off white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute.
The smell had some maple over top of a light piney hops.
The taste was moderately sweet through the maple. Piney bitterness comes back to balance. Light dry malty aftertaste runs into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable feel about it. Carbonation feels right. Stickiness of the maple comes back to slightly lay down on my tongue, but nice and balanced for the most part.
Overall, as an American Brown ale, it works, nice balance between the maple sweetness and the piney hops. I’d have again.

Bomber shared at a tasting. Pours a clear red with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of maple, roasted malts, caramel, dry stone fruits, a bit of mushroomy dms. The taste is maple, chocolate, caramel, nuts, peanut shells. Medium bodied.
