Harking back to the Porters of mid 19th Century London, our Porter is brewed with a traditional malt bill of pale, brown and black malts to create a rich flavour and dark colour. This modern exploratory interpretation of a classic favourite is sure to age gracefully.

Pours very dark brown from the bottle. A thin, creamy head clings to the glass. Aroma is sweet cream, roasted grains, soft hints of chocolate. Taste is sweet with a thin, mineral bitterness that plays out the end. Body is medium, carbonation is above average for the style and accenuates the hard mineral water notes. Okay, but not among my top porters.

Clear dark brown beer, big creamy beige irregular head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very nice, lots of chocolate, malty, some coffee, caramel, lactose hint even. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, some chocolate, coffee, bitter hops, slightly sour. Aftertaste: very dry, intense roast, dried fruits, lots of chocolate. Holy bim bam, what a good porter!
