Bottled (from Alko, Vaasa). Very deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized brown foamy head. Aroma is nutty, ripe fruity and some birch sap as well. Flavour is wooden, a bit toasted, some mild nuttyness as well as some slight ripe fruityness. Nice bitterness in the finish.

Pretty dark brown, minimal head Molasses and brown sugar and cedar or oak Really nice balance. Sweet, caramel and candy corn. Not too bitter or malty. Has this interesting vegetable like finish but not in a bad way

40cl bottle from Alko. Dark brown color, thin beige head. Aroma has bread, strong nuttyness and caramel malt. Flavor quite similar, light coffee notes, dark bread and caramel. Decent brown ale after all.

A dark brown beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma of dark bread, berries, some dark fruits and roastiness, hint of glue. Basicly, the aroma is interesting but still too messy. Taste of bread and dark fruits, surprisingly fresh, balanced sweetness. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation, nice to drink. The controversial beer, that is not boring at all, the Brown Ale with dark fruits and berries.

Tap at Nørrebro Bryghus. It pours near black with a small beige head. The nose is roasted malt, toast, treacle, sticky dark fruit and berry. The taste is roasted malt, earth, wood, leather, faint caramel, touch of alcohol, faint liquorice and berry with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good flavour and balance. A well-rounded brown ale.

On tap @ Nørrebro Bryghus. Pours black, with a small creamy head. Aroma is lightly burned malts, coffee and chocolate. Fairly light body with flat carbonation. Flavour is sweet with burned malts coffee and sugar. Not too exciting, but a decent brown.

Tap @ Nørrebro with yespr. Brown appearance with a tan head. Toasty malty, a bit spicy, caramel/toffee aroma. Pretty smooth, caramel toasty malty, mild earthy flavor. Not bad.
