Al palato si ritrovano gli elementi già descritti nella parte olfattiva quindi caramello e frutta rossa sotto spirito (ciliegia, amarena e uvetta sultanina). Il tenore alcolico lungi dall’infastidire, si amalgama con gli elementi del gusto scaldando piacevolmente il bevitore. L’amaro è delicato e presente nella quantità idonea a bilanciare la bevuta. Il corpo è medio e la carbonazione bassa per enfatizzare il mouthfeel e mantenere la rispondenza allo stile.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, with fine cream foam. Aroma is malty and caramel candy. However, these aromas always remain fairly delicate. Body is fairly dense, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, not excessive. Final is fairly dry, actually, and surprisingly.

Bottle at home. Pours copper with off-white head. Nose is sweet booze, malts, dried fruits, low smoke appears as it warms. Taste is sweet notes of malts, dried fruits, some booze. Sweet finish, light (too light in fact) body, soft to average carbonation. Not bad at all, but feels way too thin.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dall'orzo tostato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine e bollicine fini costituiscono anche la forma del perlage. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra impegnativa. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al palato arrivano note di caramello, miele, cioccolato, nocciola, frutta secca, pane tostato, luppolo, agrumi, affumicato e alcol presente.
