Sampled from tap at the brewery. Very dark brown to black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla and some coffee. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, licorice and light blueberry, followed by a short, quite roasty-bitter, gently dry and earthy finish. Medium body ,gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Alright!

500 ml bottle, as Fanø Full Danish Breakfast Oatmeal Stout. ABV is 5.5%, IBU 30. From Vinoble, Frederikshavn. Black colour, huge brown head, takes a long time to settle. Aroma of roast malts, coffee and dark cocolate, hints of liquorice and oatmeal. Flavour with the same elements, but the notes of liquorice are now more distinct. Hints of brown sugar, but the beer is not very sweet. Good mouthfeel though. Decent bittering hops (Cluster).

Bottle 50 cl. Pours black with an orange hue and a gigantic, frothy and very lively light brown head - carbonation level seems off. Nose is roasty with a hint of vanilla. Medium body, somewhat harsh roast with a metallic edge, but the fizz has left leaving a soft palate. Some licorice notes. 101019
