500ml bottle. Hazy, chestnut colour with average, thick, sudsy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish wheaty, minimally nuttily, malty aroma, hints of banana, a touch of caramel, dusty and minimally pepper-spicy, yeasty overtones. Taste is dry, grassy hoppy and minimally sweet, wheaty and caramel malty, nutty, hints of banana, mild yeasty spiciness. OK.

Hazy medium amber, tall mostly lasting frothy off-white head, heavy lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, banana, wheat, cloves, yeast. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, wheaty, toffee, light banana, yeasty, light spicy notes. Fresh sweetbitter aftertaste, light caramel, spicy on the tongue. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth and easy to drink, quite good actually.

Pours brown from the bottle. The tall frothy head slowly settles to form a stable, creamy head. The aroma is brown sugar, malty sweet, with notes of spice and old shoe. Taste is overall mildly sweet with both brown sugar and banana being evident. Not much changes in the finish. Body is light to medium and the feel in the mouth is smooth and refreshing. A fairly simple brew, but I found it very tasty. Maybe it’s just been too long since my last dunkles Weizen. Rerate on 03/18: Notable hints of clove. Plenty of brown sugar but thankfully no trace of old shoe. Overall rating still same at 3.7

Bottle at a Tucher tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Cloudy dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, banana, nuts, clove, a bit of fruit compote. Sweetish flavor, yeasty, with bread, caramel, a bit of nuts, banana, light sourish note, mild spiciness. Medium-bodied. Nice and smooth.

Bottle: Hazy, deep, deep golden to amber coloured, big and creamy off-white head with a pinkish sheen; mild nose of chocolate and caramel plus sourish dried fruits plus a wheaty-yeasty background; mild to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, mild and creamy MF; lingering fruity finish with a slight touch of warming alcohol. Pretty good…

Bottled 500ml. -from www.beershop.hr Clear dark amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, wheat and banana in the nose. Sweet malty, pleasant caramel, mild wheaty yeasty and notes of banana and cloves with mild finish. Bit thin for 6.0% but all in all pleasant weizen.
