Brown colored, cloudy, strong and thick lasting off white head. Aroma of banana bread and cloves, wheat and caramel. Taste is moderate sweet banana bread, some acidity, moderate cloves wheat, caramel, a bit of toasted/brown bread in the finish and, of course, yeast. Medium bodied and thick. Wouldn’t mind more toasted notes but it is quite decent as is.

Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, wheat, caramel, yeast, toast, dough, banana, hay, minerals, almonds. Taste is slightly dry grainy, wheat, hay, yeast, toast, caramel, dough, grass, minerals, almond essence. Little bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle purchased at Getränke Hoffmann , Harrislee. Pours muddy amber with a creamy white head. Sweet caramel and grain. Esters and wheat.

Wenig hefiger Antrunk, kaum malzig. Während die Hefigkeit konstant bleibt wird das Bier etwas röstig, dennoch schmeckt es nicht wie ein Dunkles. Ok. 11/9/9/8/12/8

Flaske delt på RBD-samlingen hos Asle Bjørn: I likehet med Sebaldus Helles Hefe har denne højt skum og god aroma av overmodne bananer og koriander, men her med mørkt brød i tilleg. Desverre en uappetittelig gråbrun farge. Smaken er allikevel kjempegod, med flott balanse og fin fylde. Sklir lett over drøvelen selv med sine 6%.

Greyish brown. Dense, pale beige head. Fine aroma, with bananas, malt, fruit, hops, cheese and bacon. Fine taste with good drinakbility. Lively mouthfeel. Some bitterness in aftertaste.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Getränke Hoffmann, Harrislee. ABV is 6%. Cloudy greyish-brown colour, large off-white head. Strong aroma of over-ripe bananas, brown bread and cloves. Pleasant flavour, again strong notes of banana, also brown bread, caramel and cloves. Lovely beer.
