mahogany colour, moderate sized creamy beige-ish head, which disappears surprisingly quickly; aroma of rye bread, roasted nuts; slight cocoa notes, minimal grassy hops and some fruitiness; taste is the same; correct dunkel, but nothing extra

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks troubles. Clear deep amber-brown with a beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toast, a bit of chocolate, nutty notes and minerally note. Sweetish flavor, toasty, with some chocolate, nuts, caramel and a drier finish with faint bitterness. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle. Deep brown in colour, with an off-white head. Brown sugar aplenty, some red fruits and a gentle, toasty, finish. Good.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut brown colour with a firm medium-sized and tanned foamy head. Moderately toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, chocolate, bread crusts and shades of grassy hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toasty malty taste with caramel, chocolate and distinctively nutty notes lingering into the toasty and slightly hoppy finish. A likeable Dunkel. 02.V.14

(bottle) Clear, chestnut colour with a beautiful and stable, slowly lacing off-white foamy head. Aromatic, caramel-malty and roasty aroma with a touch of cacao and light notes of herbal hops in the background. Light-sweet flavour with a burnt bitterness, light to medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Roast-malty taste with caramel and cacao/chocolate; quite dry, roast-malty and slightly burnt bitter finish. Lacks a bit body but is anyway a likeable dry Franconian Dunkel with noble bitterness (18.04.07).

Flasche. - Tiefes Rotbraun.

0.5l bottle. Dark amber body, off white head. Sweet malty aroma, mostly toast and caramel, but there is some floral hoppyness too. Taste reflects the aroma. Mostly sweet caramely, toasty malts but the finish has some floral hops in it. Very nice dunkel. I like it.
