Bottle, 2021 vintage. Roasted malt aroma with notes of chile pepper, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon and oak. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has no retention and very little lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla flavors as well as having a rich, full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes quite smooth with chile pepper, bourbon and oak flavors as well as the chile heat linger long after each sip. The chile heat is close to being overpowering, but still quite good.

Tap. Pours opaque black, small tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is super roasty, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate. Flavor is heavy bourbon, vanilla, cocoa, fairly sweet, medium bitter. Full body. Bourbon is too overt, but there is a nice flavor palate underneath.
