14 October 2022. At Cloudcroft Brewing Company. Shared with the lovely Anke!
A: clear brown, thin, tan head.
A: toffee, dried fig, date, vague butter.
T: sweet date & fig, caramel & brown sugar.
F: herbal hops, dried fruit, caramel & warming liqueur-like alcohol.
P: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.
Not very complex but nice on the palate.

On tap at Bosque, pours a clear dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out caramel, bready malt, and sweet syrupy notes. Flavour is syrupy and sweet, with caramel malt, bready notes, and sweet syrupy notes. Too sweet and syrupy but it's not cough syrupy. Good.

Auburn with a frothy, white head. Aroma of toffee, torf, a hint of smoke. Bittersweet. Medium-bodied, moderate watery texture, really a bit empty and too watered down for the style.

Taster in a flight at the Santa Fe Railyard location. Pours a clear, reddish, brown color, with a small, tan head. The nose is caramel, light oak, brown sugar, and pecans. Sweet and sugary, with a touch of bitterness. Pretty nice.
