This medium-bodied, amber German-style lager combines frighteningly smooth malt flavor with a haunting, spicy finish of cinnamon and nutmeg, for a scary good brew that is definitely... All Treat, No Trick.

From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light caramelish. Caramelish, light spiced and slight herbal. Bitter, toasted and dry spiced. Bitter and spiced finish. Mild and dry.

Bottle at Crios. Poured a dark amber color, small white head. Aroma was nice baked pumpkin pie notes. Fresh pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, etc. Flavor was light pumpkin pie. A bit heavy on the malt - it’s very sweet for what it is. If it was a bit more balanced in that realm, I think it’d have been better.

Not a whole lot going on here. Pours maroon with OK head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Some hibiscus and gourd. Not great. Bottle at crios thanks to radagast.

Bottle. Clear deep amber color, medium off white head. Aroma of toffee and light toast. Taste is lightly spiced and fruity caramel. Not bad.

12oz bottle bottle at Lavagna in DC, pours a hazy brown with some thin, white head. Nose has some root veg, some spice, some brown sugar. I was surprised at the brown malt character in the mouth, kind of bready, almost a little pumpkin bread, some nutmeg, orange. Sweet finish.

Pour is a amber with a large tan head. Aroma is kinda spice but really hard to detect. Flavor is a better spice with a little malty backbone. Finish leaves a little spice on the tongue. The people pouring this were calling it a pumpkin lager. I guess its kinda that with the spices used. Ok.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear red-amber color with a thin head that fades almost immediately. Aroma of caramel, nutty notes and a spicy finish. The taste is caramel, nutmeg and other spices, nutty notes, mild hops. Thin-medium bodied. Decent flavors but could use more finesse.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a heavily overcarbonated caramel-orange color with an enormous foamy orange-beige head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was caramel, honey, cherry and yeast. The flavor was wood, caramel, apple and tobacco. Medium finish. Light body and very overcarbonated. Eh.

Dark honey and cinnamon nose over a dried leaves base. Clear rust, medium yellow head. Earthy with cinnamon accents. Well balanced and enjoyable. Thinnish mouthfeel.
