Can picked up from Beer Gonzo online shop, Earlsdon, Coventry. the Guardian Perfect Fish Pie. Pours black with a beige head. The cherry is evident from the off, there is a sweetness but also a nice tang from the cherries, dark soft sugars, lovely, nice mouthfeel, it's a good beer. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Viscous pour. Clear, very dark brown. Thick, fairly dense, lasting, light tan foam. Nose has cherry truffle. Ripe black cherry. Earthy, green coffee bean. Cocoa. Parkin cake. Hint of new leather. Taste is rich and sweet, with a nice tartness that saves it getting bogged down. Earthy and a little dry, too. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Full body. Low carbonation. Chocolate cherry truffle bittersweet vibe to finish. Nice one.

Keg at Cloud 9. Pours jet black with thin laced tan head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, a little sour cherry. Taste is chocolate, coffee, a hint of cherry, a little booze. Looks great. Smooth and easy drinking. Not getting much cherry though. Very subtle but decent enough.
