Older tasting notes from after the grand final; golden pour with a small white head. Aromas and tastes of citrus, malts, grass/hay, some hops - not bad, enjoyed it.

Clear straw coloured pale ale with a small, frothy white head and a clean, crisp citrusy aroma with a hint of sweet malt. Drinks smooth and light with fruit notes on top of a light, biscuit malt backbone, with a touch of bitterness and a sharpness in the finish

500ml bottle. Pours light gold, thin white head, retention doesn't last too long; not great Aroma of biscuit malts, citra hop is noticeable, flora; ok Taste is biscuit malts, light fruits, very clean. Good bitterness in the finish with a citrus note; nice, quite refreshing Body is light to moderate, moderate carbonation; works well with the refreshing element. Overall a refreshing traditionally English brewed pale even if it does have American hops. Nothing special but quite nice.

Cask at Old Bell, Derby Pours a paleish yellow with a small white head, and good lacing. Aroma is indistinct, but has malts and a hint of peaches. In the mouth, lemons are to the fore, with some malts and straw. Finish has some hops (at last !) along with lemons. A good solid beer. Not wildly exciting but good to turn to when not much other choice.
