Tried on tap at Keans Head. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma has milk chocolate m, coffee and vanilla. Taste roasted bitter with a smooth molasses sweetness. Full body.

Half pint, keg at Piccadilly Tap. Shared with Finn. Patchy tan-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Jet black body. Smell of porridge, vanilla sweet. Powerful, rather sweet taste of porridge, cinnamon, and coconuts. Prolonged ending. Fine depth. Quite nice. (Manchester 05.02.2019).

330ml can from Caps Off, Bishop Auckland. Black-brown colour, brown foamy head and aroma of milk chocolate, coffee, malty. Taste is sweet malty, biscuit, cocoa, chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, doughy bready, coconut, vanilla, alittle cinnamon spice and some earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy malty finish. Very drinkable.

ABV: 7.5%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, tonka, chocolate - vanilla, cocoa, hazelnut. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, cake, tonka bean, cocoa, chocolate, chocolate - vanilla. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20181018]
