Draught @ Gino's East. Extremely hazy bright yellow with a small frothy whitish head, mango-citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter citrus peel-pineapple taste, thin body, long finish. Nice NEIPA.

Can ta home. Shared with de Joerdens. Hazy yellow color, white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, sweetish fruity hoppy, light vanilla, lightly some bitterness as well though. Not too bad. Bit fizzy carbonation. Alright.

16oz can. Had it on a few years back at the brewery as well. Really nice balance for an NE IPA, the oats and wheat are all there but really well incorporated. I don't find the hop bill to be particularly exciting, Mosaic and Simcoe are more than equalized by the bitter Nugget and Warrior additions. I'd love to see the same grain bill with some NZ hops. Either way, a solid, well made beer.

473ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Juicy, citrusy and slightly tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of orange, tangerine, some lemon, quince. Taste is bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of lemon, tangerine, some peach and quince, a yeasty, peppery spicy touch; lingering, bitter, almost a bit pungent, minimally chalky finish. Minimally mushy and crumbly, watery texture, dry palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Quite bitter, not overly fruity, a bit unbalanced - meh.

One might say I’m drinking too many beers this month. I wouldn’t trust that person. Anyway, this Chicago brewery definitely knows what they’re doing.

Both the Aromas and flavors are a nice blend of citrus, dank, and resin. Low bitter at first but coming on more in the Finish. Goodbody and easy drinking. Nice beer.
