Ossett Official Pub Walking Tour Beer#12. Have arrived in Ossett's funky micropub, an ex Rugby player's concern, but with changing ales including this very dark coffee heavy porter full of flavour, there's no concern. It's full of beans in the aforementioned with coffee dominant but very flavoursome at the same time, helped through a very easy smooth texture that agrees with the palate.

Cask at GBBF'23, day one, 01/08/23. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a beige cap that thins edgewards. Nose is toffee, cocoa powder, coffee bean, brown sugars. Taste comprises dark malts, light roast, mocha, coffee, charr, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent cask porter.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Dark, cola brown. Thin and sticky, beige head. Nose has baking chocolate. Packet coffee. Some ground coffee. Taste is sweet and sticky. Some coffee bitterness. Thin mouthfeel. Bitter finish. A little artificial overall. Not one of this brewerโ€™s best.
