New England IPA with oatmeal, from this interesting craft brewery in the Nancy region in northeastern France. Longneck bottle from BeerFreakChick. Quite thick and frothy, yellowish egg-white, fluffy, thinning and dissipating head, completely cloudy apricot blonde robe with deeper peachy-pinkish tinge. Aroma of mango juice, ripe pineapple, canned peaches, guava, white bread dough, rainwater, grapefruit zest, soggy Betterfood cookies, dried ginger, Zespri kiwi, dry biscuit. Juicy, sweetish onset but not overly sweet, sourish edges, impressions of mango (in a slender, not too 'sultry' way), pineapple and apricot, softly carbonated, soft and fluffy body. This sweet-and-sour 'yellow-green' fruitiness continues heavily over a doughy, soft cookie-ish malt base, to a juicy, luscious finish, where the hops act out a soft but structurally important 'end' bitterness - with even a very light and brief 'hop burn' to it - as well as retronasal mango, peach and yellow plum notes. Mild hop spiciness lingers amidst a very juicy finish. Typical, if somewhat restrained interpretation of this now ubiquitous style, ticking all the boxes without going into overdrive, so fortunately not descending into a sweet tropical fruit juice character too much. Enjoyable and a good introduction to NEIPA, for those who aren't already familiar with it.

Bottle at home. Hazy fruitgoop with some head. Sweet fruitjuice, oatmeal, slimy slick and malty, sharp oniony hops. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. +1 UP!

Bottle sourced from Beerdome and shared at home - pours a hazy golden orange colour with a white head. Juicy fruity with some pitchy citrus notes with tangerine, grapefruit, some overripe mango, medium body, solid hoppy finish. Tasty.

Bottle at home. Cloudy orange golden with cream head. Huge orange, peach, papaya, mango... Some malts, wheat and oats too. So juicy! Light grassy and a touch of white cheese. Medium sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied. Damn this brewery knows how to make juicy IPAs. Very good for the style.
