Cask, third, shared with Finn at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Coast To Coast Bar. Black in the glass, minimal beige head, spotty lacing. Nutty chocolate aromas, inviting. Taste of caramel malts, bread, and chocolate. Drying end, lightly roasted. Pretty good. (Third day of the festival, 24.01.2020).

Cask @ Mr Foleys, Leeds. Near black with an off-white creamy-frothy head. It has a cake-like sweetness with a dark malt flavour. It also has a heavy aroma in this respect. There's some spiciness in its aftertaste.
