Maintenant surnommé Unsinkable Sam, Oskar est rescapé pour la troisième fois après le naufrage du HMS Ark Royal. Ce troisième hommage regorge de Sabro et de Mosaic qui se combinent en une puissante symbiose!

Hazy golden colour with a frothy warm-white cap, good stay and lots of lacing streaks. Big lemon zest nose with some milder juices as base, and a fine grassy touch. The taste shows the zest as well, but the mouthfeel being wet-juicy, and not as dry in the end, makes it refreshing - so not as zesty. Still, citrus, mild grassiness. Another refreshing IPA from this brewery tonight.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy milky yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of citrusy notes with some light tropical notes and some juicy notes. Taste is a mix of citrusy notes with some tropical notes and light juicy notes with some light residual sugar notes. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with dryer aftertaste than expected.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours nearly opaque deep yellow with a white head. Notes of grapefruit and lemon peels, unripe pineapple, coconut, cut grass, white bread dough, oaty chalkiness, some yeast, lightly sweet up front, a bit watery, with a dry moderately bitter finish with a little rough alcohol heat. Light to medium bodied with softer carbonation. A decent though light in body for the ABV, feels unbalanced. I wish Noctem were able to give most of their other IPAs the robustness of Catnip.
