Keg @ Coracle, Ironbridge. Pours black, thin ring of off-white foam. Aroma bears strong chocolate, light liquorice. Almost no carbonation, full on the palate, oily, sweet with chocolate, brown sugar, dried dark fruit, molasses and a light chili kick on the finish. Keg at Brew, Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Purplish brown, opaque with a tan ring of head. Notes of bitumen, cooking chocolate and yeast extract on the nose. The taste is sweet, full of chocolate and stone fruit with a light balancing bitterness at the end. Silky body. Fuck me. Wow.
