Cask, Ship and Mitre, Liverpool. Clear amber colour with minimal off white head. Muted aroma with notes of sweet malt and veg. Lifeless and drab malt led flavour. Where are the hops ? How they can call this an IPA is beyond me. Poor.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a hazy amber golden with a dense, off-white head. Tart aroma with a whiff of nuts. Medium body with a light fruitiness but otherwise completely dominated by a distinct astringent acidity. 130608

Bottle conditioned at Cockney Pub, Århus
Golden color. It has some fermenting apples aroma. Medium body, with some sweet malt; the effect of the infection is a honeyish and fruity touch.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a medium off-white head. The aroma is sweet, but also with an acidic note - even though it is drunk 2 months prior to the best before date - but there are also more pleasant notes of malt, spicy hops, and lemon. The flavor is acidic malty combined with notes of citrus and light notes of caramel. A bottling problem I believe after readign Fin’s review..

Bottle from the Dodgi’ Deli, Cowley Road, 29-11-07 Poured very hazy amber colour, taste was quite citric almost sourish, some lemon, less than impressive but for some reason I perservered, bit yeasty not great, not convinced that this transfers to bottle very well at all.

(Cask at Market Porter, Borough, London 22 Apr 2006) Colour is copper. Nose is malty, nutty, with hints of fudge. Malty, nutty taste with a long bitter finish (and a hint of sewage). Nice.
