Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 1st June 2025. Amber with shallow foam and spot lacing. Cheesy, bready aroma. Fruity in-mouth, with pines, resins and floral notes that go on to dominate the finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a medium body.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers! Aroma of caramel, biscuit, malts and floral notes. Nice bitter finish and a touch metallic. Not bad.

30/7/2021. Cask at the Redoubt Beer Festival, Harwich. Pours slightly hazy amber with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit, orange, marmalade. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish. A better beer than it's average score, shame some apparently poor bottles from 2008 and 2012 got out to Scandinavia!

500ml bottle from the brewery. Deep orange colour with a white head. Slight citrus aroma. Not sure it’s really an ipa, not very hoppy. Taste has a slight bitterness

Cask at the Pembury Tavern, 03/01/15. Orange amber with moderate off white spotting that dissipates to nyadda. Nose is floral, sweet vibes, caramel, citric tones. Taste comprises straw, bitter citrics tempered with sweet ntoes, bread dough, malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so whelming gear!

1st September 2014
Bree Louise. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, no real head. Palate is smooth with a reasonable amount of fine carbonation. Sweet and slightly sticky pale malts. Hops are floral and quite bitter and come through on the back end. Finishes dry with a touch of citrus. A curious thing is this beer, such sweet pale malts but it’s not unpleasant.

Hand-pulled pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 6th May 2014. Why call a beer an IPA and then load it with malts rather than hops? Anyway the golden pour had an off-white head that tried to stay but didn’t. The aroma and taste were of treacle and calamel, no hop notes to be found: I enjoyed it, but it is not an IPA as I know it.

Bottled at Monk’s Whiskey Paradise. Hazy golden, rich coarse head. Appley nose. Sweetish and light bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Some tin and yeast. Short empty finish. Not great.
