At 6.5%, this Mountain Style IPA is brewed with modern, American hop varieties which bring tropical hop aromas of pineapple, orange, and mango. To accentuate juicy hop aromas without using adjuncts or fruit, Mountain Standard IPA is triple dry-hopped. The result is an extremely drinkable IPA bursting with bright hop flavors, low bitterness, and a slight haze.

My 12 oz can was found at the single cans rack in the nearest big box supermarket. Utilizing my Cowtown snifter this evening, I make the pour. Non-transparent yellow body with a suitable top of solid white foam. The scent is sweet citrus and a bit of hops. And the taste follows the new standard in IPAs with mangoes, grapefruit, dry crackers and still a touch of hops. Some sweetness and slightly bitter. Not bad. Nothing exciting.

12 Fluid Oz can at my daughters place on 17th December 2021. Poured slowly into a large Leffe chalice, it's hazy golden yellow with a fast fading white wisp and collar. Nose holds tropical fruit esters, grapefruit and oranges maybe (it is pretty cold, as I've only just brought it out from the fridge). Taste also fruity and on the bitter rather than sweet side. Gets sweeter in the taste as it warms in the glass, and piney notes appear aroma wise, to compliment the citrussy original aroma. This is an easy drinking IPA with a pleasant blend of flavours that don't attack your senses with anything too overpowering or controversial.

Recht helle Trübe im Glas, hopfig in Nase und Trunk, Pinien, bisschen Grapefruit, trocken aber gute Drinkability. Kein Stangen-IPA trotz des Namens. Passt.

Pour is a cloudy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is a real nice mango and pineapple with some stone fruit. Flavor is more mango and pineapple. This was a super enjoyable fruity IPA without the typical haze.

Can pour. Appearance is deep hazy yellow with decent sparkle, white foamy head with fair retention and lacing. Aroma is strong sweet grapefruit and citrus (like Fresca) with a whiff of melon and herb. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, captures the juicy sweetness of grapefruit and citrus without a lot of acidity or bitterness. Some interesting other elements add some nice complexity. I liked it!
