At 6.5%, this Mountain Style IPA is brewed with modern, American hop varieties which bring tropical hop aromas of pineapple, orange, and mango. To accentuate juicy hop aromas without using adjuncts or fruit, Mountain Standard IPA is triple dry-hopped. The result is an extremely drinkable IPA bursting with bright hop flavors, low bitterness, and a slight haze.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is citrus/pine with some bready support. Med body. There's some citrus zest, pine and caramel support. Citrus seems towards lemon Pretty dry. Nicely bitter. Good stuff, even if old school.

Ever so slightly hazy pure lightish golden coloured body with a thin, pure white head, only a centimetre tall or so. Aroma of grass, flowers and some herbal hops with a little malt scents, some light sugars and finsihing with a very small amount of yeast towards the end. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal hops at first with a light funky malt note that shows some complex yeast components and a dash of very light sweetness at the end. Aftertaste is dry, floral and very grassy throughout with a nice amount of malt for support, but a very hop-forward beer (as you'd expect) that shows the hops and dryness well without much/any sweetness or fruity notes, which makes it more like a 'traditional' IPA from many years ago - in a good way! Overall, a very nice IPA that should be sampled if you can find it, as almost a relic of the past, but a great representation of the way good IPAs used to have to taste like. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Hy-Ve in Lincoln, Nebraska on 20-January-2020 for US$1,67 sampled in my hotel room here in Lincoln, Nebraska, just two days later on 22-January-2020.

Can from GBBF 2019 and drunk at home. Slight haze pale gold colour lasitng white head. Oh, well, that's quite interesting. a lot of citrus fruits. A little pine on aroma. Pine resin, citrus fruits. Grapefruit. OK malts. Quite light malt. But the hops are not over the top. Quite bitter on the finish. Black pepper finish. I liked it, easy drinking. Yes, I'd happily have this as a weekly ipa. Some lime and lemon. Quite a light citrus and light malt ipa. But decent enough.

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Pale yellow piur, foamy head subsides quickly. Aroma offers light fruity and floral notes. Taste adds some citrus peel, faint juicy notes. Kind of tame, but poundable.
