We’ve gone full craft beer circle in the brewery – hazy to sour, sour to imperial stout, imperial stout to lager. When we were planning Out of Season Romance, we tossed and turned between joining the Helles bandwagon, or going a little left field for a Vienna style. After a particularly intense game of rock, paper, scissors, the latter took the space in the brew plans. Fashioned after one of our all time favourite beers in Brooklyn Lager, this beer spent six weeks cold conditioning in tank, with light additions of Cascade and Hallertau Blanc in the dry hop for a crisp, refreshing, and drinkable lager. A shameless homage to one of the great beers of all time.
