[backlog] 06-01-16 / bottle at home, bought in France. Deep brown with beige head. Sour notes, dont think they are intentional. Sweet chocolate notes in the finish. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 1.5/5

Small beige-cream head over deep ruby beer, well-carbonated and faintly veiled. Chocolate, cocoapowder, Be truffles. Hint at parsley. Chocolate, slightly sweet, finish is dry - as in cocoapowder. Quite aromatic, nothing forced. Spritzy to fizzy; maybe medium bodied. Better than the sum of its parts. Many thanks to Stefaan!

Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London - thanks to Ian, I reckon. Pours clearish, golden-red with a fine, beige cream cap. Semi-dark malt aroma with light fruits. Light to medium sweet flavor with some toasty bread, light leaves. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Light sweet finish with background chocolate notes, light bread. Somewhat bland, but not bad, exactly.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow tasting, thanks to Ian I imagine?, 20/01/13. Hazed chestnut brown with a bubbly tan head that clears edgeward. Nose carries dark fruit tones, mineral, sugars. Taste comprises light toffee, rye bread, dark malts, pinch of cocoa don’t expect any big chocolate hit with this one! Medium bodied with moderate carbonation lending towards a dry finish. Drinkable but basic and on the bland side ... file under ’W’!
